Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

After another 3-0 sweep, we've hit six consecutive strikeout props in our last two articles.

Let's keep that momentum going with three more strikeout props for tonight's 15-game slate.

May 31 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Jose Berrios Over 5.5 Ks (+106) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Jose Berrios's strikeout rate has dropped significantly from last season. Last year, he struck out 23.9% of batters, but this season, he's only added 19.8%.

However, he's still earned 25.2% of strikeouts against lefties. Although the Pirates only have four lefties in the projected lineup, those four lefties have combined to strike out 25.5% over the last 30 days against righties.

In addition, the Pirates still have six batters with strikeout rates of at least 23.5% over the last 30 days. With six targets and lefties who strikeout consistently, I'll back Berrios to add at least six strikeouts at +106 tonight.

Sixto Sanchez Under 2.5 Ks (+118) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I'm feeling good today, so let's go for it.

Sixto Sanchez has only struck out 11.5% of batters this season. While his sample size has only reached 148 batters, that's enough for me. Sanchez doesn't have a put-away pitch.

Meanwhile, he'll take on a Rangers lineup that has only struck out 19.3% of the time over the last month. However, realistically, the Rangers have just one batter who has struck out more than 22.2% of the time over the last 30 days.

With only one target (Adolis Garcia), I'll take my chances with the Under 2.5 at +118.

Michael Wacha Under 3.5 Ks (-104) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Michael Wacha has only struck out 20.6% of batters this season. While he's been better against lefties, he's in line to face a balanced Padres lineup.

That said, the Padres have only struck out against righties 18.6% of the time against righties in the last month. Only Fernando Tatis Jr. and David Peralta have struck out at a high rate against righties. Granted, Peralta hasn't been with the team most of the last 30 days, to begin with.

Without Tatis and Peralta, the Padres wouldn't have a single batter striking out more than 19.4% of the time. Plus, Tatis is the second-highest power threat against righties in the last 30 days for San Diego.

Let's back Wacha's Under.
