We had an insane run last week with our strikeout props. Let's keep that momentum going heading into this new week.
With 15 games on the MLB slate and many games in the early afternoon, I've added three MLB player props you'll want to think about including in your betting portfolio.
June 2 Best MLB Strikeout Props
Nick Lodolo Over 5.5 Ks (-136) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The Cincinnati lefty, Nick Lodolo, has added 28.4% of strikeouts this season. He's ultimately had success against both sides of the plate, adding 29% of strikeouts against lefties and 28.2% of against righties.
That said, he'll be in line to face a Cubs lineup that has struck out 23% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days. The lineup literally has five batters who have struck out at least 24% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days.
With five strong targets and a potential quality start for Nick Lodolo, I'm expecting at least six strikeouts out of Lodolo tonight.
Griffin Canning Over 5.5 Ks (+110) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
Although Griffin Canning's strikeout rate has dipped from 26% last season to 16.4% this year, I'm confident in him today.
He's facing a Mariners lineup that has struck out 27.7% of the time against righties in the last 30 days. Ultimately, just one batter in the lineup has struck out below 22.7% of the time against righties.
With eight targets, it's hard to imagine a scenario where Canning doesn't add six strikeouts. We know he's got strikeout potential from his stats last season and now he's facing the team that strikes out the most against righties over the last 30 days.
Lance Lynn Under 5.5 Ks (-140) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
While the Phillies' bats are a bit overrated right now, Philadelphia's projected lineup has still only struck out 19% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.
The only power producers have been Bryce Harper and Edmundo Sosa. However, the lineup only has two batters with strikeouts higher than 21.4% in the last 30 days. The Phillies are putting the ball in play but not adding big extra-base hits.
That'll at least help limit Lynn's strikeout rate. Lynn has struck out only 21.3% of batters this season and has added just 17.5% of strikeouts against lefties. He'll be in line to face at least four (possibly five) lefties in tonight's Philadelphia lineup.
