Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we missed due to Ryan Mountcastle going 0-5. Painful. But we push on! Here's our two favorite hitters of the day!
TUESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: JUAN SOTO (NYY) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Juan Soto. Soto is having a career year. Great for him as this offseason he’s going to get a BAG, however, I don’t need the heroics today, all we need is one hit.
Soto will face Bailey Ober, of the Twins. In three plate appearances, he has a hit in two of them. Typically, we don’t back Soto in hit parlays due to him walking too often, however, with how scorching hot Judge is behind him; I can’t imagine you want baserunners. He’s batting .322 this season, let’s hope he improves it! He has a seven game hit streak, let’s make it eight.
LEG 2: KETEL MARTE (ARI) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Ketel Marte. Marte and the DBacks are back at home to face Kyle Harrison and the Giants. He’s 1 for 2 lifetime against Kyle, and I’m confident he builds on that.
Ketel is batting .270 this season. He’s hitting .319 against lefties (Kyle is a lefty). He’s also batting .296 at home, where he is today. I have faith he delivers against Kyle Harrison at home. Simple as that.
