What could possibly be better than an MLB lottery parlay on a Tuesday? I couldn't think of a good answer either. I do not advise throwing darts like this everyday but sometimes the stars align and there are just too many strong spots to pass the opportunity up. Let's dive in. (Side bar- feel free to break this down into a pair of two loggers as well!)
MLB Parlay Picks Today
Leg 1: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
Tyler Glasnow has been excellent for the Dodgers this season with a 3.04 ERA to go along with his 6-3 record and the Pirates struggle against top quality righties. The Dodgers Ace is their No. 1 for a reason and with the run support I expect from a rested Dodgers lineup tonight against a sub par starter for Pittsburgh, this should be another day in the office for the Yankees.
Leg 2: Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees Prediction
Minnesota has been strong this season but this is a mismatch here. Few teams are better at home than the boys in pinstripes and tonight the pitching is a glaring difference. Bailey Ober is 5-3 but sporting a 4.89 ERA. On the flip side, Yankees stud rookie Luis Gil is 7-1 with a 1.99 ERA and he throws the ball better in the Bronx than on the road, this should be win number eight for the young star.
Leg 3: Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediciton
The O's offense bounced back in a big way yesterday after the dissapeointng loss Sunday and anytime these guys are swinging the sticks, I am in. Toronto is very underwhelming in my eyes and with O's Ace Corbin Burnes on the mound, I am all Baltimore here tonight.
Leg 4: Chicago White Sox vs. Chicago Cubs
The White Sox are the worst team in Major League Baseball and will be facing the number one offseason acquisition in the league, Shota Imanaga who is undefeated at Wrigley Field this season and sporting a 1.86 ERA. The southpaw has been fantastic and going against Chris Flexen tonight (2-5, 5.5 ERA) I like the Cubbies to draw a game closer to .500.
