Welcome to the daily parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Today, we have another 2-leg hit parlay. We need a winner tonight. This parlay will be just that!
THURSDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: JOSE RAMIREZ (CLE) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Jose Ramirez. We tried to back him yesterday but has game got postponed. Still love his matchup, so copy and paste the analysis from yesterday.
Jose is batting .272 on the season and he has great chance to improve that average today. Jose will face Brady Singer, who he is 10 for 23 lifetime against. That’s a large enough sample size for me to trust Jose to deliver.
Jose has a hit in five of his last six games. Over the last 15 days, he’s batting .356. Outside of his matchup against Singer, I don’t fear any of the Royals relievers. I expect Jose to deliver early in this game and maybe even late. Like him for 2+ Bases too if you’re feeling bold!
LEG 2: RYAN MOUNTCASTLE (BAL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of this hit parlay is: Ryan Mountcastle. We backed Ryan on Monday and what did he do…a big 0 for 5. He did us no favors. What did he do the next game? Two home runs. Well, yesterday, he once again went 0 for 4 at the plate. I’m banking on him bouncing back like he typically does.
Ryan hits the ball very well in Toronto and has destroyed Yusei Kikuchi in their matchups. Kikuchi has been struggling lately, which is even better for us. I’m confident Ryan gets a hit today. He might even hit another home run if you’re feeling crazy.
