We need a scoreless second inning and for Oakland to not score 7+ run. In the first two games of this series we have seen six up and six down in both second innings, I would love to see that trend continue.
Seattle Mariners vs. Oakland Athletics Prediction
We need three outs from JP Sears and that’s it for him today. We should likely avoid facing Julio Rodriguez which makes me feel great. Other batters on the team are a combined 8-41 against Sears which isn’t even hitting over .200.
We also need three outs and more from Bryan Woo. The 24 year old righty has looked elite so far this season in limited action. Woo has a 1.30 ERA and already shut down this same Oakland team for just one hit this season. If he can replicate that success then Oakland shouldn’t even sniff that seven runs that would ruin our juice reducer.
This game has a 7.5 total and for good reason, lets hope for a quick second inning and for some quiet Athletics bats afterwards. Let's roll!
