5 minBest Bets Today: Friday's MLB Hit Parlay from Calling Our Shot
Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. It's Friday. The final day of the business week. The final day of our daily parlays (until Monday of course). We’ve hit two straight. Let’s cash a third tonight!
FRIDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: ANTHONY VOLPE (NYY) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Anthony Volpe. Volpe returns to the hit parlay and for good reason. He’s been a hit machine lately!
Volpe is batting .288 on the season and sitting in front of Soto (who might not play tonight), and Judge is going to give him a ton of pitches to hit. He has a hit in 27 of his last 28 games. He will face Yamamoto of the Dodgers, not the easiest matchup in the world. However, he has allowed 5+ hits in six straight starts. I’m confident Volpe can get the job done.
LEG 2: LUIS ARRAEZ (SD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Luis Arraez. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to have to explain why you’d want to back Arraez to get a hit, I mean the guy has led the majors in batting average twice. But alas, here’s why I like him tonight.
He will face Brandon Pfaadt. In his career, he’s 5-for-7 against Pfaadt, hard to get better than that. Arraez has a hit in 10 of his last 11 games. The D-backs bullpen hasn’t been unstoppable. I believe Arraez delivers once again.
