Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

Let's have a huge start to the weekend! After a 2-1 day yesterday, we'll drag that momentum into tonight's MLB slate.

Here are three strikeout props you'll want to consider with tonight's slate.

June 7 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Aaron Civale Under 4.5 Ks (+126) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Aaron Civale has only struck out 22.5% of batters this season. However, his line is stuck at 4.5 with the Under at plus-money odds.

Additionally, Civale has allowed a .176 ISO and wOBA of .333 with 29.4% of line drives and just 34.8% of ground balls induced.

Meanwhile, he'll take on an Orioles projected lineup that has hit a .238 ISO and wOBA of .343 against righties over the last 30 days. The Orioles lineup has only struck out 19.9% of the time against righties in the last month and has only two batters with strikeout rates higher than 21.5% against righties.

Even if Civale can scratch through five innings, it'll be hard to imagine him earning five strikeouts. Back the Under.

Ryan Weathers Over 4.5 Ks (-122) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Ryan Weathers has been one of the only consistent pitchers in the Miami rotation this season. The left-hander isn't adding a ton of strikeouts per game. In fact, he's only added 22.2% of strikeouts this season.

But he's managed to hold teams to a .132 ISO and wOBA of .288 and figures to pitch beyond five innings against Cleveland tonight.

Beyond that, Weathers has added 24.6% of strikeouts against lefties. In the Cleveland projected lineup, there will be three lefties. Those lefties have struck out over 20% in the last month.

Meanwhile, the other six righties have also struck out 22.2% in the last 30 days, giving Weathers room to work with. After all, Weathers has increased his strikeout rate against righties from 14.5% last season to 21.6% this season.

Ultimately, the Guardians have five batters with strikeout rates of at least 25% over the last 30 days against lefties. I'll take my chances.

Austin Gomber Under 3.5 Ks (+108) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The St. Louis Cardinals have rarely struck out against lefties over the last month. The lineup has six batters that have struck out below 19% of the time against lefties in the last month.

In total, the Cardinals have struck out only 19.6% of the time against lefties. That's because of Michael Siani, who has been dreadful at the bottom of the lineup. However, Nolan Gorman is one of the other players who has struggled with 37.5% of strikeouts against lefties as a lefty over the last 30 days. Yet, he's still hit a .429 ISO and wOBA of .450 in the last month.

With Gomber's low strikeout rate, Gorman has a higher chance of launching a ball than striking out now. Take Gomber's Under.
