Over the last 30 days, switch-hitter Ian Happ has smashed a .356 ISO and wOBA of .365 against right-handed pitching.
Of course, Happ hits from the left side when batting against righties. He'll take on Frankie Montas of the Reds, who has allowed a .193 ISO and wOBA of .367 to 125 lefties this season. In addition, Montas has only struck out 16% of lefties and has allowed 27% of line drives.
Happ has a high strikeout rate against righties. But Montas isn't much of a threat. Instead, Happ should be able to put the ball in play. Against righties over the last month, Happ has smashed 45.2% of fly balls and 66.7% of hard contact with a team-leading 23.8% barrel percentage against righties.
I like Happ's chances today.

I wouldn't say Riley Green has been the most consistent hitter against righties over the last 30 days. But he's still got some good numbers.
In that time, the left-handed slugger smashed a .151 ISO and wOBA of .326 with 26.5% of fly balls against righties. He's also hit a team-leading 53.1% of hard contact against righties and has added a 10.2% barrel percentage.
All of this plays into Greene's favor. After all, he'll take on Bryson Wilson of the Brewers, who has allowed a .267 ISO and wOBA of .414 to 98 lefties this season.
Wilson has also allowed 27.9% of line drives and fly balls against lefties with onyl 32.4% of ground balls.

He's only added 16 at-bats against righties over the last 30 days. However, Enmanuel Valdez has smashed a .688 ISO and wOBA of .664 with only 6.2% of strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Valdez will face righty Chris Flexen, who has allowed a .262 to his first 86 lefties this season. Flexen has also given up 31.2% of fly balls, with only 35.9% of ground balls induced.
Beyond that, Flexen has added below 20% of strikeouts against lefties and has given up 46.9% of hard contact to lefties.
With Rafael Devers likely out of the lineup tonight, Valdez will need to be that left-handed power threat instead.
