Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. I hope you all had a great weekend. We've done very well on these hit parlays this season. Today, we aim for a fourth straight winner!
MONDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: ADLEY RUTSCHMAN (BAL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Adley Rutschman. Adley kicks off the hit parlay. For starters, Adley has a hit in 12 of his last 13 games. He’s seeing the ball well. Batting in the two spot, on the road, he should be locked in to a minimum four plate appearances with a chance at 5+.
Adley will face Ryan Pepiot of the Rays. No history against Pepiot, but I like Adley batting lefty more than righty, his splits are great both ways. Even if he struggles against Pepiot, this Rays bullpen has been bad all year long. I expect Adley to deliver early and maybe late too!
LEG 2: LUIS ARRAEZ (SD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Luis Arraez. Arraez makes his return to the hit parlay. He was featured once or twice last week and delivered each time. He’s batting .331 on the year. He did go 0-4 yesterday which means he’s as due as it gets.
The last time Arraez went back to back games without a hit? Any guesses? April 19th. I’m very confident he gets us a hit tonight. He will face Joey Estes. Joey has been great his last two starts, but I’m not buying it. Arraez is one of the best hitters in the game. He will get a hit tonight.
