WEDNESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: CODY BELLINGER (CHC) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Cody Bellinger. Cody hasn’t made his way into the hit parlay too often this year, but I’m confident today is a great day to back him. He’s starting to heat up, so let’s hope he stays hot. Bellinger has two hits in three straight games.
Bellinger will face Aaron Civale. Bellinger, a lefty, has the advantage against the righty Civale, who is allowing a .290 batting average to lefties this season. There’s not a ton of familiarity here, but I love the matchup. Stay hot, Cody.
LEG 2: ALEC BOHM (PHI) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Alec Bohm. Bohm was a staple of the hit parlays a few weeks ago, back on his 17 (?) game hitting streak. Today, we are going back to him. He has a hit in four of his last five games, and I love this spot,
Bohm will face Nick Pivetta. Pivetta throws two main pitches: 4-Seam Fastball and Sweeper. Bohm is batting .364 and .435, respectively, against those two pitches. You won’t find much better than that across the MLB. Let’s hope he delivers in Fenway Park.
