Heading back to the diamond tonight for another loaded MLB slate and I want to head to the Lou for this one. The Pittsburgh Pirates are set to clash with the St. Louis Cardinals in game two of this NL Central clash and are looking to even up the series after dropping game one last night.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction
Paul Skenes and Miles Mikolas led their squads through a scoreless duel that the bullpens carried into the ninth inning before Pittsburgh was able to put up a crooked number in the top half of the ninth. Nolan Gorman went yard in his lead off at bat of the home half of the inning but the rally stopped there as the Pirates held on for a 2-1 win over the birds.
Things in the NL Central are tight right now. St. Louis is 31-34 sitting dead last in the division. Pittsburgh is 32-34 and in second. Four squads are chasing Milwaukee and all the Cardinals need to do is string a few more wins together to get back near the top of the division.
Bailey Falter has the ball for Pittsburgh and they have lost four straight starts when he has the rock. St. Louis tends to hit southpaws pretty well and after such a quiet night at the plate yesterday, they should be hungry to rebound today.
Cardinals ace Sonny Gray has the ball tonight and I expect his dominance to continue. Gray has been terrific this season and the undisputed star of this rotation. The bats have to rally around him and the veteran starter throws the rock really well at Busch Stadium. I like the Cardinals to even the series tonight in a huge divisional matchup.
