We have a nice Thursday MLB slate today with a few days games and I have put together a parlay that consists of three different players to go over their hits, runs, and rbis lines. The parlay consists of Matt Olson, Christian Walker and Pete Alonso to each get at least 2 hits + runs + RBI's. All four hitters have great positions in their respective lineups and I really like the odds we are getting.
Matt Olson is coming off a game where he hit a homerun and also had a total of three batted balls hit over 96.4 MPH yesterday. He has had a lot of success in day games this season with a .280 batting average and .258 ISO. He has hit lefties well this season too and has a higher homerun rate against them this season than righties. This month, Olson is hitting .306 with a .222 ISO. Cole Irvin is on the mound and ranks in the 4th percentile in total barrels. I love Olson’s matchup today.
Pete Alonso also has a great matchup against Roddery Muñoz. Muñoz has gotten rocked this season and ranks in the first percentile in barrel % this season. Pete hit three balls 100+ MPH exit velocity in yesterday’s game just barely missing home runs. I think today he has a great chance to get one but at the very least I expect the Mets offense to out up runs, and for Pete to be a big part of that.
Christian Walker will face off Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher, Griffin Canning. I love the matchup for Walker. Canning ranks in the 16th percentile in expected ERA and the 20th percentile in expected batting average. Walker has two or more hits in two if the last three games and has cleared his line in three of the last four games. I expect the D-backs offense to have a good day and think Walker will have plenty of opportunities to get us 2 or more HRRs.
