Thursday MLB Parlay Picks
The Atlanta Braves take on the Baltimore Orioles for the final game of the series and I'm targeting Ozzie Albies to record a hit for the first leg of my parlay. Albies has been one of the best hitters when facing left-handed pitchers for the last couple of years, and he faces southpaw Cole Irvin today when he takes the mound for Baltimore. Albies has fared well against Irvin in the past, in seven career plate appearances he has a .667 batting average and has recorded four hits. He's recorded at least one hit in 19 of the last 25 games and I expect him to come through with at least a base knock today. He's batting at the top of the order for Atlanta and with this being a road game, he has a chance at five plate appearances as well.
For the second leg of the parlay, I’m going to Royce Lewis who is proving to be one of the best hitters in all of baseball when healthy. He’s batting .367 this season and has recorded at least one hit in eight out of nine games in 2024. Yesterday, Lewis finished with three hits including a home run and another extra base so he’ll come into today’s matchup with a lot of confidence at the plate.
One hit from Ozzie Albies and one from Royce Lewis is all we need for a win today. Let’s cash!
