Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Thursday

We've got an exciting nine-game slate on the MLB board tonight. While there are three afternoon games, we'll stick with the other six night games for our strikeout props.

It gives everyone some more time to get their picks in if they want to tail.

Let's keep the profit coming after yesterday's 2-1 day.

June 27 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Trevor Rogers Under 4.5 Ks (-136) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Over the last 30 days, Marlins starter Trevor Rogers has earned only 16.8% of strikeouts. His rate is higher against righties and he'll likely face seven righties in tonight's Philadelphia lineup.

However, the Phillies have combined to strike out just 14.6% of the time against lefties over the last month. Trea Turner, for example, hasn't struck out against a lefty since returning to the field.

The Phillies also have four batters who have struck out 10.5% or lower against lefties over the last month. With very few targets, let's take Rogers to go Under 4.5 Ks.

Jon Gray Under 4.5 Ks (-166) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Rangers will pitch Jon Gray for tonight's game against the Orioles. Gray has struck out 19% of batters over the last 30 days, but many of those strikeouts have come against righties.

Gray has earned 24.3% of strikeouts against righties, but just 11.5% of strikeouts against lefties.

Unfortunately for him, he'll take on an Orioles lineup that should have six lefties in it. Those six lefties have only struck out 18.3% of the time over the last 30 days against righties. Additionally, the other three righties have combined to strike out just 18.8% of the time against righties.

Gray doesn't have a single strikeout candidate against the Orioles, that has struck out more than 25% of the time against righties. Take his Under, even with the juiced price.

Michael Wacha Under 3.5 Ks (-116) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Let's keep attacking the Unders.

Michael Wacha has only struck out 17.5% of batters over the last month. Although his strikeouts have been higher against left-handed hitters, the Guardians' lefties have combined to strike out below 17% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.

Cleveland's lineup will likely be all left-handed batters. But only one of the nine batters has struck out more than 21.1% of the time against righties.

I'm comfortable backing Wacha to Under 3.5 Ks with this probable lineup for the Guardians.
