We have a nice Thursday MLB slate today and I have a pick that I have locked in that I really like. I am looking at the Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies game, and will be targeting Phillies slugger Bryce Harper against Trevor Rogers. I like him to get walked at least once today at +110 over on BetMGM.

Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
Bryce Harper has been absolutely crushing baseballs as of late. He is riding an 11-game hit streak and over that span is hitting .447 with a .468 ISO which are just insane numbers. I expect Trevor Rogers will try and be careful with Harper and do his best to not give him many good pitches to hit. He also has a high walk rate this season and ranks in the 32nd percentile, which is even higher against left-handed batters. This sets up great for Harper.
Bryce has recorded a walk in four of his last six matchups vs. Trevor Rogers with five total walks, and has also recorded a walk in four of the last six matchups with the Marlins with seven total walks. Harper is very disciplined at the plate which us part of the reason he is so good and ranks in the 98th percentile in walk rate this season.
While I could see Harper continue his hot streak at the plate tonight, I think we see him walk in at least one of his at-bats and at plus money, is a no brainer for me. Let’s cash another plus money play!
