Make sure you take moneyline so a tie after five innings is a push. I think this has a real shot at pushing if we don’t win it outright so don’t take the Mets -0.5 through five.
New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals Prediction
First off, the Mets have been playing some good ball lately. They have won 12 of 14 before their most recent two game skid. This team is far from elite but it’s building momentum and looks better than ever with J.D. Martinez in the mix. Today we face off against MacKenzie Gore who they played on June 3rd. Gore allowed six runs in 4.1 innings that and got slapped around.
Pitching for the Mets is David Peterson. He holds a 3.67 ERA on the year which isn’t half bad and three of his five starts have been against the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers. This Nationals team is certainly a step down from those guys. I see this for -120 on other books which I would still play it at but -104 is outstanding value. Let's have a lead after five if not at least a tie. Let's roll!
