Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels Prediction
Jon Gray has been the starting pitcher in 15 games this season and this under has hit in 11 of 15 games. A 73% hit rate is good on its own but I also love the opponent here and think he should shove today.
Gray finds himself in a nice matchup against the Angels. They are a combined 12-58 against him which is barely dragging above .200. Gray has admittedly gotten worse as the year has progressed but he has also had some brutal matchups against teams like the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Mets when they had the powers from Grimace.
I expect a bounce back start for Gray and like that his outs prop is only 15.5. The Angels first five team total is 1.5 so there is a discrepancy there. Let's hope its in our favor. This isn’t the biggest slate but this is a play I would do if all 30 teams were playing. Let's roll!
