TUESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: STEVEN KWAN (CLE) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Steven Kwan. Today, Kwan gets to matchup against Kenta Maeda. The books could’ve made Kwan -5000 to Record a Hit and I still might’ve added it to the parlay. Joking aside, I love Kwan here.
Kwan is 1 for 3 against Maeda lifetime, but this is the best version of Kwan that Maeda will see. Kwan is batting .358 on the season. He was on a five game hit streak prior to yesterday’s 0-4 game. I like the Guardians to pile up the baserunners on Maeda and give Kwan a potential for five ABs. He has great splits against Maeda’s pitch mix, plus I’m not afraid of the Tigers bullpen if we need a hit late in this game.
LEG 2: JOSE MIRANDA (MIN) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Jose Miranda. Jose cashed his leg for us yesterday and has a great chance to do it once again. As we talked about yesterday, Jose Miranda is one of the hottest hitters in baseball now up to a 12 game hit streak. During that span, he’s hitting .558. Today he faces off against Erick Fedde and the White Sox.
Against righties, Miranda is hitting a ridiculous .366 this season. Fedde is a pitch to contact pitcher and gives up several hits. Fedde has allowed 5+ hits in six of his last seven starts. We’re once again trusting Miranda to extend the hit streak today and cash this parlay!
