Best Bets Today: Wednesday's MLB Hit Parlay from Calling Our Shot

Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we technically cashed, but one leg voided...so it felt like we lost. Today, both games should be played and both legs should cash. Let's get into it.

WEDNESDAY'S HIT PARLAY

LEG 1: FRANCISCO LINDOR (NYM) TO RECORD A HIT

Our first leg of the hit parlay: Francisco Lindor. Lindor has a great matchup against Patrick Corbin and the Nationals today. With a 6.5 hits allowed line, you know Corbin is giving up hits. Let’s hope he gives one up early to Lindor.

Lindor is 13-41 against Corbin in his career with a batting average of .317. Lindor has been crushing lefties this year batting .302. As a pitch-to-contact pitcher, Corbin allows a lot of hits. He’s allowed six hits and eight hits in back to back games. Lindor bats in the leadoff spot and should get several chances to cash this leg of the parlay for us.

LEG 2: WILLIAM CONTRERAS (MIL) TO RECORD A HIT

Our second leg of the hit parlay: William Contreras. Contreras gets a terrific matchup tonight against Martin Perez. Typically, you go through batting practice before the game, but today, it will extend into the game today as Martin Perez is just that: batting practice. The last time Perez pitched in Milwaukee, he allowed 11 hits and nine earned runs…see what I mean.

Joking aside, Contreras has owned this matchup. Contreras is 3 for 5 against Perez. William is batting .345 against lefties this season and .317 at home. Over his last seven days, he’s batting .368, so he’s seeing the ball well. He should come through for us today.
