We have a massive 17-game MLB slate today and there is a lot to love on the board. I have put together a hit parlay that I really like that includes my two favorite players to record a hit today. Leg 1: Corey Seager to Record a Hit
Corey Seager just might be the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He snapped his hit streak last night but before that had a hit in 13 straight games. He is just dialed in and has a .400 batting average vs right-handed pitching over his last 12 games. The matchup is very solid for Seager against Griffin Canning. Canning has struggled this year, especially to left-handed batters where he is allowing a .289 expected batting average. Seager is just 2 for 8 against Canning in his career but I expect that to improve after today's matchup. Seager is likely to see at least five plate appearances today which increases his chances a ton.
Leg 2: Francisco Lindor to Record a Hit
Francisco Lindor is another hitter who is on fire over the past month or so. He just got snubbed from being in the all-star game so I'd expect he is playing with a chip on his shoulder. Lindor has had a ton of success vs lefties this season and against Patrick Corbin the past few years. Since June 19th, Lindor has a .370 batting average against lefties and against Corbin, is seven for his last 18 with three home runs and a double. Patrick Corbin continues to give up base hits and ranks in the first percentile in expected batting average allowed with a .315 expected batting average allowed. I expect Lindor to continue his success against Patrick Corbin here today and I think this parlay should hit fairly sweat free.
