FRIDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: JOSE ALTUVE (HOU) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Jose Altuve. Altuve and the Astros face off against their in-state and divisional rival the Rangers. Altuve gets to see a pitcher he has a great track record against today with Andrew Heaney.
Against Heaney, Altuve is 14-43 (.326) with two home runs. He sees Heaney’s pitch mix well and he should have chances for raising that average today. Altuve was on an eight game hit streak prior to going 0-4 yesterday. So far, July has been Altuve’s month. He’s hitting .324 this month which is going to help us cash this first leg of the parlay!
LEG 2: JURICKSON PROFAR (SD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Jurickson Profar. Profar always delivers when we need him to. It’s sometimes not pretty, but he comes through when we need him most, and today, we need him.
Profar will face Spencer Schwellenbach, who allows a .279 Batting Average to Lefties. Profar is batting .311 this season. I trust him to get the job done. He’s been super consistent this year. Let’s hope he can deliver an easy cash for us in Slam Diego!
