The Tampa Rays host the Cleveland Guardians this weekend for a three-game series that will take them into the All-Star break. The Rays will look to carry their momentum over after yesterday's win against the New York Yankees. The Guardians on the other hand are looking to get back on track after losing three of four games in their series with the Detroit Tigers.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Tampa Bay Rays Prediction
Tonight, the Rays will send Taj Bradley to the mound who has been excellent over the last month. Bradley has flashed his potential as a future ace for the Rays this season. Over his last 35 innings pitched, he has posted a 1.28 ERA. He has also recorded 17+ outs in four of his last five starts.
The area Bradley has shined the most is generating strikeouts. On the season, his 30.6% strikeout rate puts him in the top 92nd percentile amongst qualified pitchers. He has a more difficult matchup tonight against a Cleveland Guardians offense that doesn't strikeout at a high rate but with the way he has been pitching as of late I still expect him to generate some swings and misses.
The Guardians are averaging the seventh fewest pitches per plate appearance this season (3.82 pitches) which should lead to some quicker outs for Bradley that will help keep his pitch count low enough to work deep into this game. The Rays only got 4.1 innings from Shane Baz yesterday and were forced to use six bullpen arms as a result.
