5 minMLB Prop Pick Parlay: Can Bryce Harper, Elly De La Cruz Deliver Post All-Star Break?
We are coming off of the MLB All-Star Break having cashed three straight hit parlays, and today we look to extend that streak to four in a row. I have another parlay that I just locked in consisting of two hitters to each record a hit in today's games. Both guys were swinging the bat well heading into the All-Star Break and both guys have solid matchups today. The two players I will be targeting are Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies and Elly De La Cruz of the Cincinnati Reds. Let's cash our 4th straight hit parlay!
July 19th MLB Prop Picks
Leg 1 of the parlay is Bryce Harper, who is arguably swinging the hottest bat in the MLB as of late. He will see Pirates lefty, Martin Perez today who has struggled this season. He ranks in the 2nd percentile in expected batting average allowed which is something I always like to see when targeting players for a hit. Harper is absolutely on fire vs. lefties as he was hitting .563 against them since June 22nd as he headed into the break. On the season he has had more success vs lefties as well, accumulating a .316 batting average. With this being a road game, I could definitely see Harper getting five or more plate appearances here which only boosts our chances. I expect that level of success vs lefties to continue here today and think he easily gets us a base hit.
To round out the parlay, we are going to take Elly De La Cruz to get us a hit vs. Patrick Corbin and the Nationals. Everyone knows Patrick Corbin is a great target when looking at hitter props for the opposing team. Corbin has continued to allow hits time and time again and ranks in the first percentile in expected batting average allowed this season. Not only that, but Elly has had a ton of success against him and has played exceptionally well vs the Nationals throughout his short career. He is 5-for-8 against Patrick Corbin and has a hit in all three matchups with him. Additionally, he has recorded a hit in all 10 games vs the Nationals. He entered the break on a 6-game hit streak and I expect him to extend that to seven in today's matchup. Like Harper, Elly will be on the road in this one which means he will have a shot at five or more plate appearances. I think he sees just that and love our chances with the odds we are getting on this parlay.
