The Red Sox will pitch Nick Pivetta against the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field today at 3:10 pm ET.
Pivetta has struck out 34.8% of his last 92 batters and has added more than 29% of strikeouts throughout the season.
Today, he'll pitch against a Rockies lineup that has struck out 22.1% of the time over the last month. However, six batters in the Colorado lineup have struck out at least 22.9% of the time against righties in the previous 30 days.
With six true targets, Pivetta looks poised to earn at least seven strikeouts in today's matchup.

That matches up well with the Astros. Houston's projected lineup has struck out 23.4% of the time against lefties over the last month. Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Yordan Alvarez, Jake Meyers, Aledmys Diaz, and Chas McCormick have all struck out at least 22.7% of the time against lefties last month.
With six targets and an increased strikeout rate from Sears, you'll seriously want to consider backing Sears for just four strikeouts. If he goes five innings, you'd expect about five strikeouts.

Tanner Bibee had a massive stretch with high strikeouts around early June. But that hasn't been sustainable.
Bibee has struck out 23.1% of his last 117 batters and has struck out only 22% of righties over the last 30 days.
Bibee is in line to face more righties than lefties in Detroit's lineup. Plus, the Tigers' projected lineup has struck out only 18.7% of the time against righties in the last month.
Only Matt Vierling, Justyn-Henry Malloy, and Riley Greene are significant targets for Bibee. The lineup, starting from the five-spot to the No. 9 hitter, has no hitter who has struck out more than 15% of the time against righties over the last month.
