5 minBest Bets Today: Thursday's MLB Parlay from Calling Our Shot
Welcome to the daily parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we spoon-fed you all a nice +137 Winner, cashing a second-straight parlay. Today, we look to do the same. Let's get to it.
THURSDAY'S MLB PARLAY
LEG 1: FREDDIE FREEMAN (LAD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the Parlay: Freddie Freeman to record a hit. Freddie has a great matchup against Logan Webb and the Giants today. Against Webb, Freeman is a career 15-34 batting .441. With a matchup like this, we have to back him today.
Freddie is hitting .333 against righties at home this season. After back to back hitless games, Freddie got a hit yesterday to get back on track. Logan Webb has allowed eight hits in back to back games. Freddie is in a prime position to get one and cash the first leg of this parlay.
LEG 2: LUIS SEVERINO (NYM) OVER 17.5 Outs
Our second leg of the Parlay: Luis Severino OVER 17.5 Outs. We need six innings out of Luis tonight…it doesn’t have to be pretty, but six is needed. Severino starts against the Braves, an offense I’m not afraid of fading.
The Braves have been a bottom-10 offense against Right-Handed Pitching over the last two weeks. Severino has pitched 6+ Innings in eight straight games. Let’s make that nine straight tonight. The Mets are not opposed to letting Severino go out there and get rocked and still go 6+, heck, he had a start where he allowed seven earned runs and he still managed 6 IP.
