Best Bets Today: Tuesday's MLB Parlay from Calling Our Shot

Welcome to the daily parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. We lost in heartbreaking fashion yesterday. Still cashed 5 of our last 7 Parlays. Let's make that 6 of 8 today.

TUESDAY'S MLB PARLAY

LEG 1: Phillies & Blue Jays Both 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings

Our first leg of the Parlay: Phillies & Blue Jays Each to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings. You can find this market on BetMGM under the 'Innings' tab, or on DraftKings under the 'First X+ Innings' tab. Let's talk about why we like this one.

We’re targeting this game for runs early in the First 5 innings. Chris Bassitt starts for the Blue Jays and he’s been terrible recently. Bassitt gets tagged by left-handed bats as he’s allowing a .287 batting average to lefties. Key bats like Schwarber and Harper will have great chances at getting run production for us early in this game. Tyler Phillips starts for the Phillies and his 5.50 ERA is indicative of how he’s pitched this season. On the road, Phillips has a 7.02 ERA and the Jays should be able to get the bare minimum 1 run for us. We love both of these offenses today and they should be able to cash the first leg of the parlay.

LEG 2: Yankees & Rangers Both 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings

Our second leg of the Parlay: Yankees & Rangers Each to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings. Identical Market to the 1st Leg. We need runs early in this game by both teams.

Carlos Rodon starts for the Yankees. Rodon just faced the Rangers, going 5.2 IP, and allowing 0 ER. However, that start was at home where Rodon has a 3.08 ERA. On the Road, that balloons to 5.27 (he's allowed 15 HRs on the Road). Additionally, in that start, despite allowing 0 ER, he did allow 3 hits and 5 walks. The Rangers will get their chances today. Andrew Heaney starts for the Rangers. The Yankees have scored at least 1 ER on 17 of the last 18 lefty starters they've faced. The Yankees scored 3 off Heaney when they saw him on August 11th. All we need is 1 from a Yankees Offense that is finding its groove

Good luck everyone! Let's cash out today. See you tomorrow!
