We have a nice MLB slate today and I have put together a parlay for it that I am really liking. I am going to be looking at two hitters who have both been on fire as of late at the plate. Those two hitters are Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays. Both hitters are extremely consistent, so let's hope they can continue that and cash us out on this play!
September 3rd MLB Prop Picks
The first leg of the parlay is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to record a hit. Vladdy has now recorded a hit in 10 of his last 12 games, going for multi-hit games in a lot of those. He is hitting .462 against right-handed pitching since August 24th, which is absurd. He will see Phillies righty, Tyler Phillips who has allowed a .287 expected batting average on the season, which is well below average. I think there's a great chance Vlad delivers for us, and even think he might hit a dinger in today's matchup. All we need is one hit though here!
To round out the parlay, I am adding on Freddie Freeman to record a hit in his matchup today. Freddie will matchup against Reid Detmers of the Angels. Detmers struggled tremendously this season before getting sent down to the minors, and now he is back up in the MLB, making his first start since being sent down. Freddie Freeman has recorded a hit in four of his last five games, and is coming off multi-hit games in two of his last three games. He is really seeing the ball well right now, and has homered four times in his last four games. In fact, last year in the most recent matchup with Detmers, Freeman went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run. I expect similar success again today, and think Freddie stays hot at the plate and gets us a hit to cash this hit parlay.
