Giants vs. Dodgers Same-Game Parlay: Can Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers Control NL West on Sunday Night Baseball?

The Los Angeles Dodgers reclaimed sole possession of first place in the NL West with a massive 11-5 win last night over the San Francisco Giants.

However, since the Giants won on Friday, San Francisco can still conclude this weekend series with a series win. In addition to the series win, a win tonight for the Giants would put the Giants back at the top of the NL West, tied with the Dodgers.

Ultimately, the Giants have gone 8-2 in their last ten games. They've been red-hot and continue to prove doubters wrong. On the other hand, the Dodgers lack starting pitching, but have still been able to win more than 40 games this season thanks to their lineup.

In tonight's rubber match, the Dodgers will roll with Dustin May. He's a right-hander with a 4.46 ERA on the season. Meanwhile, the Giants will counter with left-handed thrower Kyle Harrison. He's got a 4.56 ERA on the season.

It's safe to say we'll get some offense in tonight's game.

That said, I've a FanDuel Same Game Parlay for tonight's ESPN Game of the Week, which features the Giants vs. Dodgers.

San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Same-Game Parlay

Leg 1: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-160)

The Giants will roll with a lefty in Kyle Harrison. However, he's actually struggled more against lefties than righties this season.

In fact, Harrison has given up a .387 ISO and wOBA of .383 to his first 31 lefties this year. He's also struck out lefties just 22.6% of the time this season. Additionally, he's allowed nearly 46% of hard contact and has allowed a 20.8% barrel percentage to lefties this season.

Meanwhile, Shohei Ohtani is a left-handed slugger who has hit a .209 ISO and wOBA of .318. Ohtani doesn't have the most elite numbers against lefties, but he's still added a .333 BABIP with 51.7% of hard contact against lefties over the last month. He's got a quality matchup against Harrison and could end up facing a righty from the bullpen later in the game.

Leg 2: Dominic Smith Over 1.5 Total Bases (+135)

Dom Smith has produced since earning a roster spot with the San Francisco Giants. He's smashed a .217 ISO and wOBA of .421 against his last 27 righties this season.

Meanwhile, he'll take on Dustin May, who has allowed a .254 ISO and wOBA of .370 against his last 73 lefties.

May has added a high rate of strikeouts against lefties. But he's also allowed 28.6% of line drives and has induced just 38.1% of ground balls against lefties over the last month.

Smith has struck out only 22.2% of the time and doesn't have a super high strikeout rate. If he can connect against May, there's a good chance something good will happen.

After all, Smith has hit 47.4% of hard contact with 31.6% of line drives against righties over the last month. Those numbers have helped him hit a .444 BABIP against righties over the previous month.

Leg 3: Mike Yastrzemski Over 1.5 Total Bases (+150)

Mike Yastrzemski is another lefty who has potential against May tonight.

Yastrzemski has only hit a .094 ISO and wOBA of .284 against his last 63 righties. However, his strikeout rate is just a little over 20%, and he's hit 48.8% of hard contact with 39% of fly balls. He's been a bit unlucky against lefties this season, but has potential against May, who, again, has struggled against righties.

Yastrzemski is second on the Giants in barrel percentage against righties and will face May, who has allowed an 11.9% barrel percentage to lefties. May has also given up a .342 BABIP to lefties over the last month, along with 50% of hard contact.
