Rodon is tied for the fifth most strikeouts in baseball and has two pitches with a whiff rate of at least 39 percent. Ketel Marte is showing why he’s still one of the best second baseman in baseball. Marte has 13 hits in his last four starts and has a 1.142 OPS in June. Both are in good spots to cash on player props.

Carlos Rodon has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. The Yankees left-hander has a 3.10 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 30% strikeout rate and 8.7% walk rate. He is tied for fifth in baseball for strikeouts at 114 with Logan Webb and Chris Sale.
Rodon is in the 89th percentile of strikeout rate, 92nd percentile of whiff rate and 73rd percentile of chase rate. He has at least seven strikeouts in 11 of 16 starts. He has pitched at least six innings in 11 starts.
Rodon will face the Reds, who have a 23.1% strikeout rate against lefties. The slider has been an extremely difficult pitch for opponents. Rodon has allowed a .103 average and a 43.8% whiff rate against the slider.

Marte is coming off a career season and is showing it was no fluke. Despite missing almost one month with a hamstring injury, Marte has been one of the best second baseman in baseball.
The Diamondbacks second baseman is slashing .316/.422/.595 with 45 runs, 11 doubles, 14 home runs and 31 RBIs and a 1.017 OPS in 190 at-bats. Marte is in the 92nd percentile of barrel rate, 98th percentile of xSLG and 99th percentile of xwOBA.
Marte is locked in with at least three hits in each of his last four starts. In those games, he is 13-for-22 (.590) with eight runs, four doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs. In June, Marte is batting .377/.467/.675 with 21 runs, five doubles, six home runs and 18 RBIs.
The White Sox will have Jordan Leasure as an opener. Leasure has a 4.23 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. Mike Vasil is a candidate to follow him. Vasil has a 2.94 ERA, but a 4.61 xERA, 12.7% walk rate and a 1.35 WHIP. The White Sox bullpen has a 4.25 ERA and 1.42 WHIP.
