LeBron James is just thirty-six points away from breaking the all-time scoring record. This is a record that is currently held by Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. LeBron will already go down as one of the best players to ever play the game and this is a record that will be extremely difficult to break. James is a rare exception as he looks just as dominant at age thirty-eight as he did a decade ago. Let's get into my pick for tonight for this historic contest.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction
The Thunder enter this game on a back-to-back. They were beaten badly by a shorthanded Warriors team last night and they will look to get the sour taste out of their mouth with a road win tonight. OKC overall has had a pretty good year for what their expectations are. They are the best team in the NBA against the spread, so if you are a gambler, you should love this team.
Los Angeles, meanwhile, missed out on the Kyrie sweepstakes, and for the time being, they will have to go on a run with their current roster. The good thing is Anthony Davis looks good as ever, and LeBron James continues to put up insane numbers. The issue, however, has been the role players, which is something that you may see the Lakers address in the coming days.
A lot of people will be betting something on LeBron tonight, and I am all for that, but I found another winner. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over 30.5 points. SGA is having a career year and I love this spot for him tonight. He really struggled in their loss last night, going just 6-16 from the field for 20 points. Tonight is a great bounce-back spot against a bad defense. SGA also logged just 29 minutes last night, which is the third least amount he has played all season. He will be fresh tonight, and I expect a big-time performance in a game where I do not see much defense being played.
