Leg one: Mavericks ML
I decided we needed a parlay tonight to get rich for the last day of February. It has been a magical month on free plays, and lucky for us, I saved up one of my best plays for last. The first leg of this winner will be a matchup between the Indiana Pacers vs. the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavs come into this game on the heels of a bad loss on Sunday vs. the Lakers at home. Dallas blew the largest lead of any team in the NBA this season to lose the game. Despite the loss, Dallas feels great about their chances of going on a run in the postseason, and the reason for that is their combination at guard: Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. The duo is about as good as any in basketball.
The Pacers, meanwhile, enter this game playing to the tune of a 27-35 overall record. The Pacers are two games out of the final playoff spot, and they have struggled badly as of late, going just 3-7 over the last ten games. I expect them to continue to struggle tonight as I will back the Mavericks at home for leg one of this winner. I expect them to play with a chip on their shoulder tonight after that rough loss on Sunday.Â
Leg two: Clippers ML
The second leg of this winner will be a matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers come into play after losing back-to-back games in overtime. They have played well enough to win in both games, but they have had trouble closing teams out at the end of the game.
Los Angeles made headlines when they added Russell Westbrook, who has started in both games for the Clippers and has played pretty well. I expect Los Angeles to bounce back on their home floor tonight and take care of business after a couple of tough games. Let’s keep rolling on the hardwood tonight!
