Leg one: Nuggets Race To 15 PTs
Nuggets Race To 15 is a bet that has made us plenty of money historically, but this season owes us. The Nuggets have a great spot here against a tanking Rockets team that are in the thick of the Wemby sweepstakes. Even though Denver has Aaron Gordon as probable and Jamal Murray as questionable, they are currently -11 favorites for good reason.
Nikola Jokic is a man on a mission trying to obtain his third straight MVP, and I don’t see anyone on Houston who will slow down his momentum. Denver notoriously starts games incredibly well and actually averages the most 1st quarter points in the NBA with 30.9. Denver is the better team, and we won’t overthink it.
Leg two: Luke Kennard u0.5 Blocks
To get the juice down from -180, we needed to pair it with something that feels super safe. I took Kennard not to get a block. Luke has failed to get a block in 35/38 games this season. That juice reducer has a 92% hit rate. Kennard is a sharpshooter with a nice role on his new team, but I don’t see him as a defensive presence against LA tonight.
