The NBA season is finally here!
Opening night will begin with a doubleheader on TNT with the Lakers-Nuggets matchup and the Suns-Warriors game.
I've got a few player props that I like to start the new season for tonight.

Christian Wood hit at least eight points in 88% of games last year. With the Lakers, he figures to have a role off the bench.
In the final preseason game, Wood played 15 minutes and added two points with just one field goal on four tries. But I'm looking up and down this Lakers bench and believe Wood will become a higher-volume scorer with the second team.
Wood has succeeded against Denver in previous games and should see the second-most minutes off the bench behind Rui Hachimura.

Jamal Murray proved he's more than just a scorer in last year's postseason run.
Murray added at least eight assists in each NBA Finals matchup and still took 18.2 shots per game while hitting over 45%.
In the last preseason game, Murray saw only 29 minutes. But in those 29 minutes, he added seven assists despite shooting 3-for-11 from the field.
This year, we're going to see growth out of Murray. He earned 6.2 assists per game last season. That number could grow to over seven assists per game this season. I'll take his Over against the Lakers.

I know Andrew Wiggins isn't known for his passing ability.
But I'll take a chance with Wiggins to get two assists from a starter on the Warriors. With Draymond Green out, the forwards will have more opportunity to earn assists.
And while Chris Paul will clean up most of the assists for the Warriors, Wiggins still added 2.3 assists per game last season.
He hit at least two assists in 75% of his last 20 games. He also nailed this line in 69% of games last season.
I'll take my chances with Wiggins, especially if he plays 30 minutes tonight.
