Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction

The Suns enter the season viewed as one of the favorites to win the NBA championship, and for a good reason.

Phoenix was aggressive in the off-season, adding all-star shooting guard Bradley Beal to their roster.

Beal is not expected to suit up and play in tonight’s game.

Additionally, the Suns moved on from former first-overall pick Deandre Ayton, sending him to Portland as a part of a three three-team trade.

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are the two stars of this Phoenix lineup, and the team will perform as well as these two.

Booker averaged 27.8 points a season ago, along with 5.5 assists.

Durant averaged 26.0 points per game and 6.4 rebounds.

Golden State feels as if they have another run in them entering the year.

The Warriors added future hall of Famer Chris Paul to their roster in the off-season, setting up for a revenge matchup tonight.

Paul is in the back end of his career, but the team is optimistic about what he will bring to this team.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green return as the core members of this team.

Curry led the team with 29.4 points per game while dishing 6.3 assists per game.

Klay Thompson averaged 21.9 points per game.

Andrew Wiggins averaged 17.1 points per game and 5.0 rebounds.

Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Pick

This line has jumped significantly in the favor of the Warriors.

Beal is not expected to play, which is a big deal in this game.

Additionally, the status of Devin Booker is up in the air. If Booker does not play in this game, Phoenix will have trouble keeping pace.

Overall, the Suns are not a good enough defensive team entering the year, which will be the difference in this game.
