Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Same Game Parlay: Will Kevin Durant Ball Out on Opening Night?

The NBA season returns tonight and what better way to start the season than to lock in a same-game parlay?

The Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors will clash for a highly anticipated battle tonight. These two franchises have enjoyed a lot of regular-season success over the past five years.

The difference has been what happens in the playoffs, as the Warriors have won multiple championships compared to zero for the Suns. Both of these teams are seen as legitimate contenders to win the finals this season.

Suns vs. Warriors Date, Time, And Where To Watch

  • Date: October 24, 2023
  • Game Time: 10:00 pm ET
  • Where to Watch: TNT

Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction

These two teams both feel as if they improved in the off-season.

Phoenix added former all-star Bradley Beal to their roster. The 30-year-old has averaged 22.1 points per game in his NBA career.

Phoenix moved on from two starters a season ago in Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.

In his first game as a Warrior, Paul will face his former team tonight. Ayton was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers .

Phoenix added big man Jusuf Nurkic to their roster in the trade. Additionally, the Suns added Grayson Allen and Bol Bol to their roster.

Golden State lost in the second round of the playoffs to the Lakers a season ago.

Steph Curry and Klay Thompson will once again lead this team. The Warriors will be without Draymond Green in tonight's game.

The Warriors traded Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards in the offseason. Poole was third on the team in scoring a season ago. The biggest offseason addition was veteran Chris Paul.

The Warriors are a 2.5-point favorite tonight.

Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Same Game Parlay

Leg 1: Chris Paul Under 14.5 points

Paul has declined as a scorer over the past three seasons. In the first game of the season, I do not expect the usage of Paul to be extremely high, and when he is in, I expect him to facilitate most of the game.

Leg 2: Kevin Durant Over 25.5 Points

Durant is one of the game's best scorers, and he will be ultra-aggressive to kick off the season tonight. The volume will be there; we only need a strong shooting night from KD.

Leg 3: Jusuf Nurkic Over 8.5 rebounds

In a fast-paced game, there will be plenty of opportunities for Nurkic to clash the glass. The Suns are an undersized team, so he will lead the charge in rebounds tonight.

Leg 4: Warriors ML

I love this spot to tip off the season for the Warriors. Golden State has been one of the best home teams in basketball in the Steve Kerr era. Phoenix will be without Beal tonight, which will limit their scoring.
