Best NBA Prop Picks: Lock in This Expert's Best NBA Prop Bets for Wednesday

Although Opening Night was yesterday, we've got 12 games and 24 other teams opening up their seasons tonight. While there are no current 2023 stats for any of these teams and players, I'm still feeling confident about my three player props for tonight.

October 25 Best NBA Player Props

Daniel Gafford Over 10.5 Points (+102) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Someone's got to score for Washington! Gafford averaged nine points on 73.2% from the field last year. But his role is expected to increase this season. In his last three games last year, Gafford added at least 15 minutes and played more than 20 minutes a game. He got to the foul line a lot and shot at least 70% in his last three games. Gafford will start with Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma. Both of those guys will chuck up shots like there's no tomorrow. However, Gafford will earn some offensive rebounds and put-backs. So, not a bad option there.

Jaden Ivey Over 4.5 Assists (-132) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Jaden Ivey averaged 5.2 assists last season for the Pistons. He also added at least four assists in two of four preseason games, where he played no more than 24 minutes in any game. I know Cade Cunningham is back. However, Ivey will still get his assists. The second-year player averaged seven assists per game last April in 37.8 minutes. In March, he also averaged 7.1 assists in 33.3 minutes. The ball will be in Ivey's hands a lot, even with Cunningham around. Ivey hit at least five assists in nine of his last ten games last year.

Karl Anthony-Towns Over 7.5 Rebounds (-130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The NBA is better when Karl Anthony-Towns is healthy. The power forward averaged 8.1 rebounds last season and finished the 2022-'23 season with at at least eight rebounds in nine of his last ten games. Even against the Denver Nuggets in the West Conference Quarterfinals, Anthony-Towns averaged 10.2 rebounds per game in 36 minutes. To close out April, he finished with 9.8 rebounds and averaged 30 minutes in the regular season too. Let's take the Over for Anthony-Towns.
