There are two players that I will be targeting tonight for props. Both of these players have favorable matchups heading into tonight's games, and also have hit these lines consistently. At the beginning of the season, you always want to find lines that look way too low and take advantage of them, and that's exactly what we are going to do with these two lines. The two players we will be targeting tonight on props are Keegan Murray and Ausar Thompson.

Murray had a fantastic rookie season last year, averaging 12.2 points on 45.3% field goal percentage, 41.1% 3PT percentage, and 76.5% free throw percentage. The kings are also very high on Murray heading into this season and expect him to be an integral part of the offense.
Murray has covered this line 10 out of his last 13 games to close the season and now get a great matchup against the Utah Jazz. He covered this line in all three games against the Jazz last season, putting up 22,22, and 16 points.
This matchup suits Murray's strong perimeter shooting. Last season, he shot the three ball at 41.1%, averaging 2.6 3PM on 6.3 attempts per game. The Jazz correspondingly allowed a ton of 3PM to opposition power forwards, particularly after moving to a lineup starting both Lauri at small forward and Kessler at the center spot. Post all star break, the Jazz allowed the 2nd most 3PM to opposition.

Thompson is a highly rated prospect and spoken highly of by the Detroit Pistons organization who drafted him 5th in the offseason. There's a good chance he will be starting tonight, as seen by new head coach Monty Williams' comments. "We think he is going to be an intricate part of our team and there is a chance that could happen right away based on what we've seen this summer and in camp."
