Washington Wizards vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction
Mathurin is a guy who is not afraid to get his shot off. The second-year talent now enters the starting lineup and should be in line for another bump in productivity this year. He averaged nearly 17 points per game last year, and that was with 61 of his 78 games coming from off the bench.
Mathurin as a starter last year finished the season hitting this prop in seven straight games. Washington is a good opponent for a bet like this. Jordan Poole and Tyus Jones are fine players, but aren't too intimidating on the defensive side of things. This game projects to be fairly close with a 5-point spread and should be high scoring with a 235 point total.
Mathurin has all the confidence in the world, and I like him to be even more of a scorer this year. Indiana added some solid pieces in Bruce Brown and Obi Toppin, but none are high-volume shot takers that will inhibit Mathurin's usage. This is my favorite play of the day, but we will remain cautious with the half unit as rotations become more set in stone. Let's roll!
