Tonight the Toronto Raptors face the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls got blown out in their first game of the season where they clearly were struggling. On the other hand, the Raptors beat a very talented Minnesota Timberwolves squad. I love the Raptors being an underdog tonight versus a Chicago Bulls squad that is lacking talent. I believe the Raptors will cover the spread and get it done for us tonight.

Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction
The Toronto Raptors are coming off of a 97-94 victory versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. To start this off, there will be two sides of this reasoning on why I'm taking Toronto +2.5.
First, Chicago has had a very stressful couple of weeks. They lost by 20 in their first game of the season, which led to a team meeting. Not only do they have this issue, but they also don't have much talent, especially with Lonzo Ball out for the season once again.
With Ball out, they have Coby White running the point guard position. Quite honestly, I don't believe he's a starting-caliber player. DeMar DeRozan is also under stress, while playing in his last year of his deal, and is a potential trade piece if this team gets off to a rough start this season.
On the other hand though, I believe this Toronto team is solid and full of talent. They were competitive last season, however they seemed to have struggled late in games, but in the first game of the season that trend seemed to change. I know they lost their captain in Fred VanVleet, but the addition of Dennis Schroder is a better fit for this team who needs a true point guard.
Overall, I am not liking the Chicago Bulls at all in this matchup, and I see the Toronto Raptors taking a step forward from last season. I expect the Raptors to dominate early, and continue to show that they have the ability to close out games this season. The only concern I have for this game is that the Chicago Bulls might come out fired up after what happened a few days ago. But even with a fired-up Bulls squad, I still favor the talent of the Raptors.
