I’ve spent all morning almost placing bets and then last second finding something off putting about it. This one feels right though for a multitude of reasons.

First off, this bet has a perfect hit rate on the season of three for three. Los Angeles have 18, 20, and 28 first quarter points on the season. An average of just 22 points in the quarter. Orlando has played two games this year and have held teams to 26 and 20 points for an average of 23 points in the quarter.
Los Angeles is on the second leg of a back-to-back and I think there’s a real possibility of either LeBron James or Anthony Davis resting. The game spread of Lakers -1 also makes me feel that the sportsbooks agree with that remark and someone will sit out. Regardless I like this under and think Lakers will end up with somewhere between 24-26 points.
Orlando has been the slowest team in pace and the less possessions for LA the better. I feel like we only lose this if the Lakers just shoot incrediblely efficiently, I don’t imagine an all out sprint where this game is quick action. I see lots of slow possessions and a pretty slow start here. Let's make it 4-0 on the short season and let's roll!
