The Hornets take on the Rockets on Wednesday night and will look to prevent Houston from getting their first win. I am buying low here on LaMelo Ball to put up points after a slow start.

LaMelo has not had a great year. With that being said, he is still a threat to go off any night. LaMelo is only averaging 14.3 points per game this year, but if you dive deeper, you can easily predict that number will jump with time.
LaMelo dealt with foul trouble and only played 22 minutes in his last game. This outlier brought down his points per game, so if he remains out of foul trouble, he should see his usual 30+ minutes.
Additionally, LaMelo is only shooting 25% on the season. LaMelo has shot over 40% every year in the league, and he will shoot more efficiently at some point and get that number up. LaMelo is still averaging 18.4 field goal attempts per 36 minutes. LaMelo hit 20 points in a game this year where he shot 4-17, this bet can hit efficiently or inefficiently.
This is the lowest I’ve seen a bet for LaMelo in a long time. The matchup is nice too against Houston. If Cole Anthony can score 20 points against them, then I would imagine that franchise player LaMelo Ball can too.
