There are three props that I will be taking today individually. All three of these players have historically dominated these matchups and I believe they have great value for these props. The only question mark I have in some of these matchups are that they might end up as blow outs. The three players that we will be targeting today are Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokic, and De'Anthony Melton.
November 6 Best NBA Prop Picks
Anthony Edwards Over 2.5 3 Pointers (-104)
Edwards has hit this number in all three of his appearances in Boston in his career. Hitting five, three, and five. Boston is allowing the sixth most threes to shooting guards and second most to the point guard position. Only reason I mention both positions in this write up is because Edwards really does play both. To put into prospective, no matter who matches up with him he will have plenty of opportunities to shoot the three ball tonight. So far this season, Edwards has hit this number in three out of five games with his attempts severely low the past two games. I think the Celtics ability to guard the paint well will force Edwards to step back and shoot the ball from deep.
Nikola Jokic Triple Double (+140)
Jokic has triple doubled his last five out of seven games versus the Pelicans averaging 31.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists. Jokic last season without Jamal Murray averaged 26.8 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 10 assists, triple doubling in six out of ten games and four out of four in home games. Jokic last season versus the Pelicans in three games averaged 11.3 assists on 19.7 potential assists and 15 rebounds in 21.7 rebound chances. Jokic last season at home averaged 24.8 points, 13.1 rebound, and 11.1 assist triple doubling in 21 out of 35 games. De'Anthony Melton o1.5 Threes (-122)
Melton has been struggling so far to start the season, but now he gets the perfect team to shoot against tonight. Melton has had 2+ threes against the Wizards in his last four matchups versus them. The Wizards this season are allowing the most threes attempted and the most made and at the third highest percentage in the league. Melton last season at home averaged 2.4 threes at 41.7%, going over this line in 24 out of 38 home games.
