The Orlando Magic travel to Miami tonight to take on the Heat in a battle of Florida. Both teams are entering this game off a loss, with the Magic losing to the Wolves back on Tuesday and the Heat coming off a loss against the Thunder on Wednesday. These teams are neck and neck in the standings right now, with both teams entering this game 21–16. This is a big game for both sides, and there are injuries on both sides. What should we expect tonight between these two?

Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat Prediction
The Heat are dealing with multiple injuries to starters right now, including shooting guard Gary Harris, shooting forward Franz Wagner, and center Wendell Carter Jr. Wagner is the biggest offensive injury in this game, but losing Wendell Carter is a big injury for this team. Carter is one of their best defenders, and he is excellent at guarding the paint. That will be an issue tonight against the Heat, who also come into this game with some injuries. The Miami Heat enter this game with one fully healthy starter: Bam Adebayo. Kyle Lowry is doubtful for tonight‘s game, Tyler Herro is questionable with a shoulder injury, Jimmy Butler is still out, and so is forward Caleb Martin. However, Bam Adebayo is still healthy. Adebayo is second on the team with 22.1 points per game, and he leads the team with 10.4 rebounds per game. If Herro cannot play, then Adebayo will have to be the main scoring option for the Heat tonight, and he has a good matchup against the Magic. With Wendell Carter Jr. injured, Goga Bitadze will be expected to guard Adebayo, and he is a much worse defender. With that, I expect Adebayo to be taking a lot of shots tonight to be the main shooter for the heat. Because of this, I think Bam Adebayo will go under his assists prop tonight, which is set at 4.5 assists. This is a line that Adebayo has only hit in 10 of 27 games this season, totaling a 37% hit rate. Add in the injuries, and I don’t see Adebayo dishing the ball off that much tonight, but rather shooting it more himself and others passing to him. The Orlando Magic only give up 3.97 assists per game to opposing centers, so I do not see Bam Adebayo having a big night in the assist department.
