Trae Young is not a fun guy to fade but this feels an assist too high. Trae has faced off against Orlando twice and has failed to hit 11 assists in both games against them. I see that happening for a third time here tonight.
Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks Prediction
Orlando allows the fewest assists to point guards in the NBA. Trae has games of nine and eight assists this year against Orlando and the second game he even had five added overtime minutes and still couldn’t hit this number. Orlando has been playing at a slow pace especially with Franz Wagner sidelined, less possessions should mean less assist opportunities.
This game does project to be close but like any under, we get the added benefit if potential winning due to blowout. Not to mention, foul trouble could help us or even injury. Unders aren’t typically my cup of tea but 11 assists is a lot. Trae has less than 11 assists in four of his last six, let's hope he make it five of his last seven. Let's roll!
