Indiana Pacers vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction
Domantas Sabonis doesn’t get to play against his former team often, but when he does, you can tell he takes it personally. The effort I saw Sabonis show against his former team last year was impressive. He ended up grabbing 16 rebounds against Myles Turner and the Pacers.
I’m willing to bet we see a similar result on Thursday from Sabonis on the glass. He bodies Turner for 16 rebounds last year, and in a game with an extremely high total moving up, he’s going to have plenty of opportunities to secure some rebounds.
With a total this high, you can expect plenty of points, and with more points comes more shots attempted. I’m sure both of these teams will end up with well over 100 points when the final whistle blows, but considering both teams rank in the top-ten in pace, there will be plenty of shots missed and rebound opportunities as well.
I’ve been watching Sabonis’ rebounds line get bumped up all day. It’s currently sitting at 12.5 juiced to the over. Ignore the juice and lay it with Sabonis tonight; he’s going to play extremely physical against his former team. It doesn’t hurt that the Pacers rank as the fourth worst rebounding team in the NBA.
His rebounds line is this high for a reason. Buy low on Sabonis after a slow start to the season. He’s coming off back to back triple doubles, currently playing his best basketball of the season. Sabonis is going to dominate the boards against his former team, bet him to secure more than 12.5 rebounds and I’ll meet you at the cash counter.
