5 minOrlando Magic vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction: Can Bruce Brown Stuff the Stat Sheet on Friday Night?
The Orlando Magic travel to Toronto tonight to take on the Raptors from Scotiabank Arena in Canada. The Magic enter this game off a win over the Nets, which snapped back-to-back losses for them. They now sit fifth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 38–28. The Raptors, meanwhile, have lost five games in a row and have fallen into 23–43, good for 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Toronto is banged up right now and has multiple injuries which has inflated this line to +8.5. What should we expect tonight?

Orlando Magic vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction
With everything going on for Toronto right now, the one player I think we can rely on tonight is forward Bruce Brown. Brown has played musical chairs around the NBA the past few years, as he has been on four teams in the past three seasons. After starting the year with the Pacers, he was traded to the Raptors, where he has brought good depth to a struggling franchise.
Bruce Brown will be needed tonight as the Raptors are dealing with many injuries. Scottie Barnes just underwent surgery after getting injured on March 1, while Jacob Poeltl is still out, along with Gary Trent Jr. being listed as questionable tonight with a groin injury. RJ Barrett is not injured but is out tonight for personal reasons. This leaves the Raptors pretty shorthanded, as Immanuel Quickley will be the main scoring option. I think this gives a very good opportunity for Bruce Brown to step up and produce tonight in addition to Quickley.
Bruce Brown can fill in wherever needed and should get a decent volume of minutes tonight as he has the last few games for the short-handed Raptors. He has flip-flopped from starting on the bench and in the starting rotation, but he will secure a starting position tonight with all of the injuries. Since returning to play on Monday, Brown has been in the starting rotation and played 38 and 33 minutes this week.
He has 26 PRA (Points+Rebounds+Assists) against Denver on Monday and 26 PRA on Wednesday against the Pistons. his line tonight is 21.5 PRA. With the Orlando defense buckling down on Immanuel Quickley, I expect Bruce Brown will have a decent volume of shots available and should have good opportunities for rebounds. We know the minutes will be there too given all the injuries. Take Bruce Brown to hit 22 or more PRA tonight against the Magic.
