The Charlotte Hornets travel to Orlando to take on the Magic in the Kia Center with tip-off at 7:00 PM ET. The Magic have won three games in a row and sit at 5th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 40-28. The Hornets have lost back-to-back games to drop to 17-51 on the season, good for 13th in the Eastern Conference. What should we expect in this game tonight?

Charlotte Hornets vs. Orlando Magic Prediction
The player I am targeting in this game is Hornets point guard Vasilije Micic. Micic was drafted back in 2014 but has not played in the NBA much. He started the season on the Thunder, where he was averaging 12 minutes per game and just 3.3 points per game for the first 30 games of the season. He was then traded to the Hornets and has now played 17 games with them, starting eight of them while averaging 11.9 points per game. With the injuries for the Hornets right now, his role has increased to a career-high for him in March. The Hornets are down multiple guards, as LaMelo Ball remains out of action, and the Hornets traded away Terry Rozier. With Tre Mann coming down with an illness today, this leaves the Hornets very shorthanded at the guard position. Micic has stepped up for the Hornets and has been a useful piece of the offense for them. Since stepping into the starting role, he has averaged 15.9 points per game and 5.6 assists per game on 50% shooting from the field in his eight starts for the Hornets this season. March has undoubtedly been the best month of Micic’s career so far. He is averaging 15.6 points per game and 5.8 assists per game in this month so far. This includes a game against this same Magic team back on March 5th, where he had 21 points on 8–15 shooting, along with five rebounds, and four assists. his line tonight is just 12.5 points. I do not think this line is adjusted for how much Micic's role has increased in this offense, and the fact that Tre Mann is now questionable with an illness should play even more into an increased role for Micic and an increase in minutes. He has hit over 12 points in five of nine games in March while landing on 12 exactly in two of them as well. His floor right now seems to be about 11 points, as he has hit at least 11 points in every game in March, so backing him to go over 12.5 Seems like a solid bet tonight.
