With no NCAA Tournament games until Thursday, we have to find something to bet on in the mean time. Luckily, we have some great NBA games on the slate for tonight. There’s a late-night game between the Mavs and Kings that I cannot stop thinking about. Let me take you to my favorite NBA play of the night…

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS. SACRAMENTO KINGS PREDICTION
Both the Mavs and Kings will be playing their second game in as many nights on Tuesday. Dallas is coming off a 10-point victory against the Jazz, and the Kings just beat and covered against the 76ers. With both teams coming off big wins and playing some good basketball of late, which team will come out on top?
I’m willing to bet that the Mavericks earn another road victory on Tuesday night, keeping their four-game win streak alive. Dallas is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games, and is 20-14 straight-up on the road this season. Luka and the Mavs don’t struggle on the road like a lot of teams, and considering the Kings are coming off back-to-back games as well, I like their spot tonight even if the Mavs are on the road.
When these two teams faced off back in January, the Kings dominated for the majority of the game. Dallas dominated the 4th quarter, outscoring the Kings 40-26. Dallas still ended up losing this game by a handful of points, but I liked the adjustments Jason Kidd made down the stretch. The Mavs might’ve figured something out at the end of that game, let’s just hope they carry that momentum into tonight.
I would typically be worried about Dallas’ matchup with Sabonis in the paint, but newly-acquired Gafford has been the major paint presence the Mavs have been missing all season. They finally have a big man that cannot only match up with Sabonis and slow him down on the inside, but someone Luka and Kyrie can run the pick and roll with. Gafford is a big piece that the Mavs didn’t have when they lost against the Kings back in January.
The Mavs opened up a +1.5 underdog in this spot, but were quickly steamed close to a Pick ‘Em on most books. The Kings look like the easy play here, barely the betting favorite at home against the Mavs who played in Utah last night. Fade the “easy” play, and back the Mavs on the moneyline to keep their win streak alive. I’ll meet you at the cash counter.
