The San Antonio Spurs travel to Memphis tonight to take on the Grizzlies in what might be the least-watched game on the NBA slate tonight. This game features two of the worst teams record-wise in the NBA and neither have anything to play for playoff-wise in this game. However, that doesn’t mean there is no value betting-wise for us bettors out there.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies Prediction
The player I’m targeting in this game is Spurs guard Malaki Branham. You might be scratching your head wondering if you’ve even heard of this guy before, and I would not be surprised if you said you haven’t. He is a 20-year-old second-year player out of Ohio State who was taken in the first round of the 2022 draft. He averaged 23 last year and started 32 games for the Spurs while starting 27 this year and 21 minutes per game. However, he has recently seen his role increase over the last few games thanks to an injury to Devin Vassell. Vassell is out for the season with a right foot stress reaction, leading the way for Malaki Branham to start in his spot. With Branham starting the last few games, he has averaged 35 minutes per game in place of Vassell. He has averaged 18 points, two assists, and 2.5 rebounds. While I don’t mind taking a stab at his assists prop, I am going to target his three-pointers instead.
Branham played a few games earlier in the season without Vassell, but with this being the last few games this season, and the Spurs completely out of any playoff contention, it’s clear they’re giving him some more minutes to look ahead to the future. He has averaged 35 minutes per game over the last five games after averaging just 21 minutes per game this season.
With that, his three-point attempts have skyrocketed, and he has been making them. He is averaging 7.73 three-point attempts per game over the last three games and is making four on average over those three games. His line tonight has plus money on over 2.5 and I love taking it over in this spot. The Grizzlies are 22nd in three-point shots allowed per game and are 27th and three-point percentage allowed. With Branham getting extra playing time due to injuries and the season standings, I like him to go over 2.5 threes for the fourth game in a row.
